Pumpkin smoothie

One of my classmates posted this recipe and it looked so good I gave it a try. Feel free to substitute and make it your own!

1 banana
1/3 cup organic canned pumpkin purée
1 TBSP almond butter
2 dashes cinnamon
2 dashes nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used hemp)
Unsweetened almond milk- enough to cover the ingredients

Blend and enjoy!

  1. I'm going to for sure try this, this weekend!! I just bought pumpkin to make paleo pumpkin cookies, so this will make a great treat after my work out...I'm all about making new smoothies right now... I'm really into my coconut milk ones--
    1 C frozen blueberries (I love Costco’s wild organic)
    1/2 can of 14oz full fat coconut milk (the authentic stuff)
    Dash of Cinnamon
    Stevia to taste (optional)
    3 Tbsp Hemp protein
    1 handful of kale (optional)
    10 ice cubes

    1. Thanks for your post and recipe Mont! I love exchanging ideas. Coconut is one of my favorites and I'll definitely try out the 'Tana Special' ;) The other night I made some really great granola that has coconut in it... I'll be sure to post the recipe!
